Every minute a woman in the developing world dies from pregnancy-related causes that are mostly preventable or treatable. Every 30 seconds a child dies as a result of its mother's death. Dr. Lisa Masterson and Stephen Masterson founded Maternal Fetal Care International in 2005 to help mothers and children survive and enjoy better health in the poorest regions of the world. MFCI brings volunteer physicians to treat needy women and children. MFCI also provides training to local healthcare personnel to elevate the standard of available medical care and decrease mother-child transmission of HIV/AIDS. With your help we can continue to bring help to Mothers and Children in need.

On the Evening of May 6th, MFCI will celebrate Mother's Day weekend with a couture fashion show and soiree honoring Mothers and the work of MFCI around the world. The MFCI Humanitarian Award will be presented to Talk show host, Actress and Humanitarian, Holly Robinson Peete.
The fashion show produced by Birgit C Muller Couture and Les Bohemiens will feature celebrity mothers and their daughters such as Marianne Jean Baptiste, Neicy Nash and many other surprise celebrity guests. Guests will enjoy an exclusive menu prepared by world renowned Chef Helene An at the beautiful new House of An restaurant, Tiato in Santa Monica. This is sure to be a memorable night for those in attendance and life saving for the women and children MFCI serves around the world. JOIN US!
